The conference, organised by Architects’ Council of Europe and our Joint Programme Smart Cities member Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), marks the end of 5 years of work to develop and demonstrate groundbreaking solutions in communities across Europe. 36 partners from academia and industry in 8 European countries have collaborated to deliver 6 large-scale demonstration projects with more than 50 innovations ranging from energy efficient technologies and circular materials to tools and processes for planning and design. 

The conference will highlight the lessons learned from the implementation of the solutions and discuss the challenges and opportunities to their wide scale market uptake.
